Cropping removes unwanted edges and focuses the viewer on the important part of a photo. It is useful for profile pictures, product images, thumbnails, blog graphics, social posts, forms, and marketplace listings.
For profile photos and product thumbnails, use the square 1:1 preset. For blog or website banners, 16:9 is usually safer. For social posts, 4:5 works well for vertical feeds, while 9:16 is useful for stories and reels.
